Pillow sizes sound simple until you stand in front of a shelf of them. A quick measure saves a lot of guessing.

Here is a plain size guide.

Common sizes

Standard pillows are often about 20 x 26 in. Queen pillows are a little longer, and king pillows are the longest.

Write down the size of your case, then the size of the pillow you are considering. Look at length and width separately.
