How to clean a pillow cover
3 min read ยท Posture Pillow Co

A pillow cover needs a clean now and then. The label is the first stop.
Here is a calm routine.
Read the label
Most covers have a care label inside. Follow it.
If the label is missing, spot clean.
Spot cleaning
Dab the mark with a damp cloth and a little mild soap. Do not soak the foam.
Let it air dry.
Our covers
The Contoured Memory Foam Pillow has a fabric cover with a zip, and the Lumbar Cushion for Office Chairs has a removable cover.
For both, follow the label on the cover.
Air it
Open a window and let it air.
Our guide to storing pillows has more ideas.
A few more steps
Check that the zip is closed before washing, if the label says you can wash the cover. Wash it alone, so it does not snag. Let it dry fully before putting it back on. Do not put foam in the washer. For the foam, spot clean and air dry. Keep the label somewhere you can find it, such as a photo on your phone. If the label is missing, spot clean only. A tidy routine keeps the job small. Choose one day a month to check the cover and spot clean if needed.
